Trimble supplies the following rainfall record at “Bivcrsdale,” Inglewood', for Mayloth ,62in, J7th .94, 18th .83, 19th .08, 23th ‘2.02, 26th 3.20, 27th 1.54, 28th .97, 29th .07, 30th .47, 31st .10; total, 10.51 in. The rainfall for Eltliahi for the month of May amounted to O.GOin. Rain was recorded on 13 days, the maximum fall being 2.09 in., on the 26th. At Baton during the past month rain fell on 11 days, the total being 4.57 inches. Last year rain foil on the same number of days, but the rainfall was 2.G0 inches. The maximum fall during the oast month was 1.88 inches, which fell on the 26th.
