DUNEDIN WINTER MEETING. (Per Press Association.) Dunedin, Last Night. The Dunedin J.G. winter meeting opened to-day before a fair attendance. A shower of rain fell prior to the first race. The tote investments were £9,333, as against £10,082 for the opening day of last year. Results: Pacific Hurdles Handicap, 115 sovs. a mile and three-quarters.—White Cockade 1, Belmond 2, Wairakci 3.
