EGG CIRCLE.

A meeting of Iho Egg Circle commit lee was held last night, when it was definitely’ decided to .commence operations and to affiliate with the New Zealand Poultry Association. Airs T. Hugs was appointed depot manager. It was decided, to canvass the district for members. Arrangements are to be made to hold a public meeting at some early date, when what has been done and the objects of the society will he explained. Hides are being framed to suit the conditions in the district. A meeting will bo held in a month’s time, when a directorate will he appointed, a definite scheme will be brought down, and the Circle will be in a position to start operations. Tire committee at present is engaged in framing rules. The Circle has been promised considerable support, members are being enrolled freely, and there have been a* groat many inquiries from intending members. The secretary (Mr C. Downey) will be pleased to answer any inquiries regarding the Circle.
