(Rcceivcd 1, 8 a.m.) London, May 31. Mr. Fisher, interviowed by the .‘‘Morning Post,” said the admission of the Dominions to the. Council of the Nation revolutionised the relations ..with the Mother Country. All barrier;; and reserve would bo broken down, and mutual confidence established for ail time. Community of interest was of the highest importance, and the vast possibilities created almost made him wonder w y they were admitted to the very inmost confidences of the Imperial Government. The Dominions wore part of the. Empire in all things. No developments, .however sudden, should now bo beyond .their understanding. (.Received 1, 8.0 a.in.) Capetown, .May 31. Mr. Smuts announced General Botha’s appreciation of the manner in which the Home Government took the .delegates . into their confidence, 'and That its effort on in ter-Impeidal relations had produced the best impressions throughout South Africa.
