PROGRESS OF REGISTRATION.

Tlic following registration figures have been officially supplied:—Totals -registered to 20th -May, territorials, 14,(501*; senior cadets, 21,007. Registered during week ending 27th May.;—Wellington: Territorials 005, senior cadets 1108; Auckland, •17-1—540: Canterbury, 005 0115; Otago, 472 —075. Totals to 27th May: Territorials, 10.702; senior cadets. 27.2!!,'!. Thus to the, week ending 27th May, -11,05.5 have registered for the territorials and senior cadets. To this may be added the estimated total of 17.500 territorials and senior cadets at present serving, and who are registered on separate lists, making 02,155 accounted for. This leaves about 884 who must register before June 2 or suffer penalties under the Act.
