AN EXPANDING BUSINESS.

Mil o. x... j liceiTSOik. commencing in 1903 Mr J. H. Thompson, Ims found his business expanding yearly until now he has found it necessary to shift to more extensive promises which are at present being lit ted up next to the Coop. Store. When Mr Thompson sot up business as a public accountant and auditor, sharebroker, valuer, insurance, commission, and land agent, ho handled the whole of the business •himself, hut now ho keeps two office assistants and has Mr W. T. Wood in charge of the land agency department. Now, also, land clients arc well catered for, a motor car being at their disposal when they desire to visit properties. Mr Thompson has held the position of secretary to the Strat ford Electrical Supply Co. since 1903, and iu his new promises a special office is provided for the company’s engineer, Mr Walter J. Newton. Several excellent agencies arc handled by Mr Thompson, including the accident department of the South British insurance Co and the New Zealand Express Co. Mr Thompson’s land agency department is growing considerably. Extensive sales of town' and suburban properties have been conducted, and farrh property sales have been handled right through Taranaki, and along the West Coast of the North Island.
