Ur, n oon sly at the exact moment when the..crown is placed upon,the head of the King in Westminster Abbey on rivn:rday, Juno 22nd. The shouts of “Long live the King!” as they resound through the Abbey will find an echo in' the most distant parts of the world (says tiio London . “Daily Mail”). ' ' In the great cities of the self-gov-erning Dominions, at every military station throughout the vast Indian Empire, and in small islands in many seas and oceans the triumphant boom and shout will be heard. Men of all colours and all races will join in an acclamation such as was never given to monarch before. r i ho Colonial Office lias made a request to the Earl Marshhll to bo informed of the exact minute the crown will ho placed upon the King’s head, Kid the information—it is expected the time will lie within a few minutes of two o’clock'—will bo communicated by the Colonial Office to every part of the Empire, so that arrangements for saluting the King cart be made well in advance. In those ports of the Empire where it is daytime when it is two o’clock at Westminster guns will lie tired, and in those places where it is night rockets nr hombs will bo lot off. Taking two o’clock as the actual time when the King will bo crowned, the Coronation salutes will (says the “Mail”) be given at the following hours in the places mentioned:—.
