VALUABLE STOCK.
NEW IMPORTATIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A valuable consignment, of blood stock in the shape of ten head of Lincoln red Shorthorn cattle and one purebred'Sborthorn bull arrived from Liverpool by the Drayton Grange yesterday. They arc ■ail consigned to Mr. W. Taylor, of Grccnhill. To Awanmtu, Waikato. The nick of the lot is the Shorthorn bull. "Blitebley Admiral,'’ a two-year-old beast of massive carriage and very masculine bead. Among the Lincoln rods is a line young bull. “Brown Prince.” Although quite a calf he weights about IS cwt., and is an excellent specimen. The rest arc Lincoln red heifers, all in calf to pedigree .stock. They came from milking pedigree cows,-and have been bought for Mr. Tavlor by Mr. Edward 11. Cartwright, of I\cddington Grange. South Lincolnshire, They were selected from the very beat milking record herds under tlie charge -of Mr. Alfred Whiteman, of the county of Durham. The cattle have stood tiie voyage well, and arc in r, nod condition. It is understood that their value runs into a very high figure.
