ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY'S CONCERT.
Tickets are commanding ready sale, and given a fine night, , the Society’s second venture should bo greeted by a .Targe audience. The male quartette (unaccompanied) should be very favourably received, as tho line numbers to. be contributed have probably never before been hoard locally, and it ■should also bs borne in mind that, outside professional circles, a male quartette has not appeared in Stratford for quite a number of years. The two Items are ‘'Stars of the Summer Xight” (Hatton) and* “To-night” (Beethoven). The orchestra lias worked, very hard during tho past three months on their portion of tho programme, and with two rehearsals yet to be goite"tbroinj;h, Will'no doubt be in tip-top . form by Thursday. The other vocalists—Misses Wilson and Saiigster, and Mr. Twiss—can ho relied on to'do their part. Mr. F, W. Wilkie’s recitation should, as usual, bo’ an outstanding feature of the performance.
