Barnes says that the Commons Labour Party have some misgivings as to the continued cfliciency of trades unions under the Insurance Bill. Ha would support the second reading, hut Ids future action would he largely determined hy alterations made in committee. The Labour Party wore unable to agree to the clause depriving trades unions of the full control of the funds of tire Labour Party. They would also insist that unemployed benefits be distributed through trades unions. IMPERIAL CONFERENCE. MESSAGE FROM THE KiX(L (Received 2d, 9.15 a-.in.) London, May 25.
