NEW HEBRIDES.
Sydney, May 25. Particulars of the recent hurricane in the Now Hebrides, when ton vessels went ashore and two whites and six natives were drowned, show that the effects were more devastating than were at first reported. The storm was general throughout the group. Houses were unroofed and blown down at Aneitzum and Tenua. It is supposed that several 'recruiting vessels, besides the ten reported, were (down ashore. The steamer Malatia had a trying experience. She lost her deck cargo and fittings.
