GENERAL CELEBRATION - IN ENGLAND. (Received 25, 11.10 a.m.) London, May 21. Empire Day was celebrated' in the majority of tne elementary schools of England and Wales by saluting the Union Jack. The cadet corps paraded. The King received a great number of telegrams from all parts of the world. The King and Queen attended the League of Mercy’s Empire Day garden parly at While Lodge, Richmond.
