"UNFAITHFUL” DELEGATES,

By Telegraph. —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night,

At a special meeting of the council of the New 'Zealand Amateur Athletic Association held to-night, A- Mwyatl and J. H. Pollock, representatives of tin Otago centre, handed in their resignations. This action is the outcome ol Otago’s resentment at the action of the delegates in voting Wellington as the place to hold the Australian champion ships, contrary to the instruction of the Otago centre.’ I’he Otago centre passed a resolution revoking the appointment of Messrs Marryatt and Pollock an dole gates, and although they believe tin centre has no power to do this, they regard the resolution as a vote of want of confidence and prefer to resign. Theii resignations were accepted and the de legates were thanked for their services to amateur athletics.
