WELLINGTON EXHIBITION.
(Per Press Association.) Wellington, May 22. The Industrial Association’s Exhibition opens here on Wednesday, in order to introduce goods made in Now Zealand to the consuming public, there is a wonder! u! display and range of articles quite equal, and in some respects superior, to similar goods imported. the hoor space is nearly eighty tnonsand square feet, comparod with forty-two thousand at the Wild exhibition. ’J'iie sports stadium is a strong feature, providing an area for competition of 2l()ft by WSft, and seating over a thousand spectators. Boxing, tennis, bowling, athletic and other displays are announced. The theatre holds over eight hundred of an audience, and is already leased to English entertainers. In tne art gallery there is a line collection ol pictures. The music on the opening day will -lie given by a strong male choir, Mr. Robert Parker directing. There will be lectures on nursing, cooking, and ether subjects. It is believed in connection with exhibits that space has been much over-applied for, and there is not sufficient for all intending exhibitors.
