POSTER CARNIVAL AT ELTHAM. The poster skating carnival at Eltham, which takes place on Thursday next, promises to he a groat success. Entries arc expected from all parts of the district. Some particulars regarding the same appear in another column of this issue. CORONATION RINK. Roller skating at the Coronation Rink seems to have caught on rapidly, and tho proprietors arc doing good business. BERNARD’S SKATING RINK AND PICTURES. His Majesty’s Theatre was well patronised again on Saturday evening to witness the' last screening of Monday’s programme. Skating will he indulged in to-night, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, and the popular pictures will he screened on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The rink, which will he open every afternoon in the week, is becoming more popular ou account of the weather being cooler. To-morrow afternoon members of Allan Hamilton’s company will participate in the exhilarating pastime. In tho evening a potato race will he Held for men, and musical chairs for ladies. WEST’S PICTURES. On Friday evening Hie Town Hall will ho occupied by West’s Pictures, when a good programme will be screened.
