A GIRL’S SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wanganui., Last-Night. A seven teen-year-old girl named Nellie Delaney committed suicide yesterday afternoon by jumping into the river. It is said that as the result of chastisement by her father, she threatened to drown herself, and forthwith put the threat into action. FALL FROM A TRAM. Christchurch. Last Night. C. Cohen, a single man aged 20, employed ns a tram conductor, fell off a Limvod ear yesterday morning. He sustained a severe conensoion and other injuries am! was admitted to tlie hospital, where lie is doing fairly well.
