Bruce Mathew Collie (South Hillend), for parking on a pedestrian crossing, was fined 10/-, 12/- costs; for having no warrant of fitness he was fined 10/-, costs 10/-. Irvine Lawrence Green for riding a cycle at night without a light was fined 10/- costs 10/-. Leonard Francis Fraser (Gore), for driving without due care and attention was fined £2/10/- costs 12/-. David Maxwell Marshall (Winton), for having defective lights on his motor-ear was fined £l/10/- costs 10/-. For exceeding the heavy traffic licence with his motor lorry Francis John Robert McDowell (Hedgehope) was fined £l, costs 12/-; for exceeding the axle load he was fined £l, costs 10/-; for exceeding the load limitation on tyres he was fined £l, costs 10/-. Edward Phillips, a carrier, of Woodlands, was fined £l, costs 10/- for exceeding the heavy traffic licence, and for exceeding the load limitation on tyres he was fined £l, costs 12/-. Alexander Leonard Reid (Dunedin) pleaded guilty to driving at a dangerous speed and was fined £7/10/-, costs 10/-. Orr (Ohai) pleaded guilty to a breach of the Mining Act—interfering with the working conditions in a mine after an accident—and was fined £7/10/-, costs 12/-. A. James Wayte (Otamita) pleaded guilty to fishing without a licence and was fined 10/-, costs 10/-, solicitor’s fee £l/1/-.

Robert Henry Louis Wood, for using insulting language was fined £3, costs 10/-.
