longs to go he tangled and lost 50yds. At the half-mile post Imperial Grattan was so far out of the running that he appeared as good as being out of the race and even then he got up to be fourth. The Grattan Loyal gelding has certainly plenty of ability and he will keep a field of improvers busy the first occasion he elects to race solidly.
