COUNTIES’ ASSOCIATION ELECTS OFFICERS
(PA..) WELLINGTON, November 20. At a meeting of the executive committee of the New Zealand Counties' Association, Mr W. G. Belton, chairman of the Patea County Council, was unanimously elected president. Mr G. A. Monk, chairman of the Horowhenua
County Council, and Mr W. M. Norman of the Southland County Council were elected vice-presidents. Complimentary references were made to the services of the retiring president, Mr William Morrison. 'Mr Norman has been a member of the Southland County Council for over 30 years. He was elected to a position in November 1914. He has been chairman on five occasions.
