SOLDIERS WELCOMED HOME

A welcome home was extended to Sapper W. Clark and Driver J. Muir in the Ryal Bush Hall. Driver Muir was presented with a. gift. Sapper Clark was re-welcomed home, having been welcomed home previously, after which he returned to the Middle East. The speakers were Messrs G. Wishart, N. Dillon, C. Haywood and T. Wilson.

SEAWARD DOWNS.— The hall was well filled to welcome home Driver Herbert Morton and Private A. McNeil. Mr J. McKenzie, chairman, thanked those present for the large attendance and formally welcomed home the guests of the evening. Mr R. Wylie, on behalf of the residents, congratulated the soldiers on their safe return and presented each with a monetary gift. Driver Morton and Private McNeil replied.
