SHOP ENTERED AT GORE
Theft Of Tobacco And Money About 1000 cigarettes and a quantity of tobacco, as well as about 20/- in cash, were stolen from the tobacconist’s shop of Mr J. A. Whiteley, Gore, some time on Thursday night. 'An entry was made through a window at the back of the shop into the hairdressing saloon, the door of which was forced to gain access to the shop. The thieves used a thick 4in nail, which was driven into the upper and lower sashes of the window. Articles removed from a heap of junk near the adjoining premises of Mr J. J.- Ferris, cycle agent, were found outside. The matter has been placed in the hands of the police.
