ACCIDENTALLY SHOT BY COMRADES
(Rec. 8 p.m.) LONDON, August 1. A total of 146 men of the British occupation army in Austria have been accidentally shot by their comrades with souvenired enemy weapons, say the Vienna correspondent of The Daily Herald. Forty-seven of the victims died, and 24 soldiers are awaiting courtmartial for manslaughter.
