SCHOOL GIRLS ATTEND COUNCIL MEETING
The City Council had quite a large audience to listen to its deliberations last night. They were pupils of the senior class of the Southland Girls’ High School. In welcoming the girls, the Mayor, Mr Wachner, said he hoped that as a result of their attendance at the meeting they would gain an idea of how civic affairs were conducted.
