£53,500 FOR PATRIOTIC FUND

Trades Council’s Art Union (P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 30. Mr F. P. Walsh, president of the Wellington Trades and Labour Council, handed the Mayor, Mr W. Appleton, today a cheque for £53,500, the result of the Dominion wide art union conducted by the Trades and Labour Council for patriotic funds.
