SEA SCOUTS’ BAZAAR A meeting of the Bluff Sea Scouts Bazaar Committee was held to receive the final figures of the takings at the bazaar held recently. The sum of £2lO had been raised by the bazaar and concert and since then a donation of £lO/10/- had been received from a local supporter, while several citizens had signified their willingness to assist the formation of a Scout Headquarters. A site for the proposed building has not yet been decided upon, but it is hoped shortly to reach a decision so that an early start may be made on the building, which is expected to be completed this summer. BLUFF RATES.— The Borough Council staff is busy on the preparation of the current year’s rate demands. Ratepayers will receive these on August 1, the date on which the rates become due. Payment of the amount or any part payment on or before August 30 will be subject to a 2| per cent discount. ,
