(Special) WELLINGTON, June 22. Following is the special forecast for Southland issued by the Meteorological Office this evening for the period ending 5 p.m. tomorrow: — A deep depression is moving away south-eastwards. A depression is approaching Cook Strait from the north-west. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, tending northerly. The weather unsettled, with occasional showers. Temperatures cool. The weather in Invercargill yesterday was cold, calm and overcast. Frequent showers of rain fell during the day. The Tides—Saturday: High water, Bluff, 0.28 a.m., 12.51 p.m.; Invercargill, 1.09 a.m., 1.32 p.m.; Riverton, 11.51 a.m., 11.28 pm.; Oreti Beach, , 11.37 p.m. Sunday: High water, Bluff, 1.08 a.m., 1.32 pm.; Invercargill, 1.49 am., 2.13 p.m.; Riverton, 12.08 am., 12.32 p.m.; Oreti Beach, 12.17 a.m., 12.31 pm.
