Forged Bank Notes
A fifth forged £1 Reserve Bank note has been discovered in the Auckland district. It was noticed by a shopkeeper at Mairangi Bay when he was making up his takings and he immediately handed it over to the police. The note is similar to the four discovered recently at Dargaville and in Auckland and it bears the same numbering, 6 over M 505296.
