LONG TREK FOR GERMANS

(8.0.W.) RUGBY, May 22. More than 100,000 Germans will begin to walk home on Friday from Holland, a correspondent with the Canadian Ist Army. Most will foot it all the way, except for the crossing of part of the Zuider Zee. A total of 1000 German servicewomen, 8000 veterans and 29,000 men will go by sea, mostly in German naval vessels which will dock at Wilhelmshaven. The remaining 48,000 will journey roughly 230 miles on foot.
