(Rec. 9 p.m,) LONDON, May 9. Dr HjaTmar Schacht, a former German Finance Minister and Reichsbank president, said he believed that Hitler is still ‘alive. Schacht was captured yesterday on the northern Italian border. He told the correspondent of the British United Press that he had never been a Nazi. He added: “Hitler never took my adivce. He never understood money or the power of money. He was sane in some things, but not others. He is a genius, but an evil and diabolical genius.”
