The Hon. Adam Hamilton left for Wellington by the express yesterday morning.
Mr T. N. Smallwood, joint managing director of the State Advances Corporation and Mr C. W. Batten, members of the Rehabilitation Board, Wellington, arrived in Invercargill from Wellington last night. They will leave for the north tomorrow
Mr D. Harris was re-elected chairman of the Invercargill Fire Board at the annual meeting of the board yesterday.
Flight Lieutenant R. E. Stevenson has’ arrived by air from Auckland to spend leave with his parents, Mr and Mrs J. K. Stevenson, Herbert street. Guests at the Grand Hotel include Messrs G. Mackenzie (Whangarei), C. Bonner and Flying Officer S. Haynes (Auckland), Messrs G. F. Wilson, T. M. Smallwood, G. Batten and A. E. Hefford (Wellington), Lieutenant F. Boydhouse, Messrs B. Bassett, C. F. Oliver, and S. C. Stevens (Dunedin).
