NIGHTCAPS CLUB OPENS The opening of the Nightcaps Golf Club was held over the weekend in ideal weather. Mr A. Cochrane, the president, extended a welcome to the visitors. The best cards in a medal competition were:—H. Robins (Tuatapere), 94-22-72; E. Thomson, 78-6-72; R„ Malcolm, 94-21-73; W. McElligott (Ohai), 79-5-74; W. Mangan (Tuatapere), 82-5-77; W. Robertson, 87-10-77. H. Robins won on the count back from E. Thomson.
