Sheep or Wheat?
Which provides more food—an acre of sheep or an acre of wheat? This question was put to. an appellant at a sitting of the Armed Forces Appeal Board at Gore yesterday by the chairman, Mr E. H. Murney. “I don’t think there is much doubt,” added Mr Murney. “It is the duty of every farmer to grow some wheat, especially where there is some machinery on the place.”
