Obituary.—Miss Margaret Finlayson, whose death occurred suddenly, was well known in Invercargill as a masseur. She was the third daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Finlayson, of Don street, who settled in Invercargill about 1859. She was educated at Park school, and for a time was employed in the photographic studio of Mr C. Gerstenkom. She later became interested in massage treatment, and went to Wellington for training in this work. During the last war she did much valuable work among soldiers at both Christchurch and Invercargill hospitals, but in recent years practised privately.
