CASH TILL STOLEN

Daring Theft From Dairy

(PA.) AUCKLAND, April 8. A daring theft took place at Morningside on Saturday evening when a wooden cash till, containing about £3O in notes and silver, was removed from the counter in the dairy of Mr S. M. Gribble, of New North road, while he and his family were in their living quarters at the rear of the shop. The till, which stood at one end of the counter, was stolen in the space of three minutes during the serving of two customers and at a time when people were constantly coming to and going from the dairy.
