WELCOME HOME FUNCTION AT ST. PAUL’S CHURCH
Sister W. Bell, Sergeant W. G. Tait and Corporal D. Ballantyne, from the Middle East, and Sergeant S. Walker, R.N.Z.A.F., from Canada, were welcomed at a function held after the service at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church last evening. The function was held in the Sunday School Hall and the Rev. C. J. Tocker presided over a large attendance. Mr A. Adam, convener of the soldiers’ committee, and Mr R. H. Waddell, session clerk, welcomed the guests on behalf of the congregation.
