WAIANIWA SOLDIER WOUNDED (P.A.) WELLINGTON, January 5. The following 2nd New Zealand Expeditionary Force casualty list was issued tonight. Corporal F. Williams, who has been reported wounded, is the youngest son of Mr F. Williams, Wyndham. He was born at Wyndham and educated at the Wyndham school. He then took up work in his father’s tailoring business. He joined the army in 1938 and rose to the rank of Warrant Officer before proceeding overseas in July, 1943. Corporal Williams has since cabled his wife that his wound was not a serious one, and that he is otherwise quite well.
