HIGH DIVORCE RATE IN BRITAIN

(Rec. 9 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 18. The Divorce Court in London today will make absolute 545 decrees nisi, thus ending more than 12,250 marriages in England and Wales during the year. This is the highest total recorded in any single year. Ten thousand were divorced last year and 7650 in 1942.
