Danger Of More Bushfires (Rec. 7.50 p.m.) SYDNEY, Dec. 17. Fierce dust storms have been raging again over almost the whole of inland New South Wales. Victoria air services have been suspended and many towns have had to switch on their lights during the day. In some centres wet towels had to be placed over infants’ cots to protect them from the choking dust. Isolated bush fires have occurred and an urgent warning of their danger was issued today by the New South Wales Divisional Meteorologist.
