BOXING
WRIGHT BEATS FISHER (P.A.) TIMARU, December 4. Ken Wright (10.5), of Timaru, tonight gained a technical knock-out over Norman Fisher (10.11), of Christchurch. The decision was given a few seconds before the final gong. Fisher was more resourceful, both on attack and defence, and was ahead on points till the ninth round, when he went down for a count of two. He was groggy in the final round and cried enough just before the gong.
