SHEEP DOG TRIALS.— Sheep dog trials will be held in the morning at tlie Southland Summer Show on December 13. It is intended to start the trials at 9 o’clock. Entries close with the secretary, Mr A. L. Adamson, or Mr L. Dawson, Mossburn, on Friday, December 8. There will be a draw for places and the owners of the first six dogs to run will be advised so that they can arrange to be in the grounds in time.
