A NEW GENEVA

(Rec. 9 p.m.) HAMILTON, Nov. 4. The Legislative Council has proposed that Bermuda should become the "headquarters of the United Nations’ League. Sir Stanley Spurling told the House that there was plenty of support in Canada, New Zealand and the United States for the idea to make Bermuda “the Geneva of the postwar world.” Notes regarding the proposal have been sent to the British and American Governments.
