MOTION OF LOYALTY APPRECIATED
A letter from the private secretary of the King received at the meeting yesterday of the Southland provincial executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union thanked the branch for the motion expressing loyalty to his Majesty carired at the last annual conference of the branch. The letter stated: — “The King deeply appreciates such messages which, in times like the present, are a source of great encouragement to his Majesty.”
