FUTURE OF HOSTEL— The disposal of the property in Grace street which had been purchased *by the Southland Provincial Patriotic Council for use as a hostel for servicemen receiving hospital treatment, but which was lateifound to be unnecessary because of the small number of men who would require accommodation, has been left to the hostel committee of the council. The future of the property was discussed at a meeting of the executive of the council. Mr W. F. Sturman reported to the meeting that no offers had been received from any of the city builders.
