BEATON.—At Riverton, on Thursday, October 26. 1944. Matilda Edith, dearly loved wife of Richard Beaton, of Waitati, and second eldest daughter of Mrs and the late Mr H. E. Skeggs, Pahia; in her 41st year. The Funeral will leave the Riverton Hospital, on Saturday, October 28, at 2 p.m. for the Riverton Cemetery.—A. F. Webb, Funeral Director.
CHAPMAN.—At Invercargill on Wednesday, October 25, 1944 (the result of an accident), Georgina Mary, beloved wife of the late Andrew Chapman; aged 73 years. The Funeral will leave her late residence, 145 Liddel Street, on Friday, October 27, at 2.15 p.m. for the Eastern Cemetery.—J. Fraser & Sons, Funeral Directors.
HARDY.—At Sydney, on October 21. following illness, R. M. Hardy, late of Invercargill; aged 61 years.
MATHIESON.—(SuddenIy), at Invercargill on Thursday, October 26, 1944. Lewis, beloved husband of Isabella Mathieson, 63 Robertson Street; aged 83 years. Private inteiment at Eastern Cemetery on Saturday, October 28, at 11 a.m.—J. Fraser & Sons, Funeral Directors.
PARKER.—At Invercargill on Wednesday, October 25, 1944. Alwyn Alfred, beloved husband of Mary Evelyn Parker, 74 Clyde Street, and fifth son of Josephine and the late Robert Parker; aged 34 years. R.I.P. Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Basilica. Tyne Street, at 9 a.m. on Friday. Private interment.—J. Fraser & Sons, Funeral Directors.
