AIR CONFERENCE DELEGATION

Mr Sullivan Arrives In

Washington

(Rec. 1 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Oct. 21. The Hon. D. G. Sullivan, head of the New Zealand delegation to the International Air Conference, has arrived in Washington for consultations before going to Montreal for the Empire talks. Mr Sullivan told the Press that New Zealand, because of her geographic isolation, was intensely interested in the expansion of an international aviation system, particularly trunk lines to Britain, America and Canada. She also wished to see links with the Pacific islands, India and China.
