GORE HOUSE DAMAGED BY FIRE

The Gore Volunteer Fire Brigade received a call on Saturday morning to attend an outbreak in the premises of Mr W. T. Divers, Mary street, Gore. A strong wind was blowing and it was considered that some hot ashes had been blown from an ash bucket. A small amount of damage was done to the rear portion of the house: The fire was extinguished by the brigade a few minutes after it had arrived on the scene.
