NUFFIELD GRANT— The trustees of the Nuffield Foundation made a donation of £225,000 which will be spread over a term of years, towards the appeal for - a fund for the completion of London House, a hall of residence for Dominion students in London. Sir William Goodenough, chairman of the council of governors of the foundation, said that the Rhodes Trustees had agreed to make a grant of £5OOO. (Rugby.)
