NATIONAL WAR SAVINGS IN INVERCARGILL
National war savings investments in Invercargill yesterday totalled £349. So far this week £478 has been received towards the weekly quota of £1634. The district organizer, Mr W. G. Nield, will visit Winton tomorrow. He will meet the Winton War Savings Committee to discuss ways and means of improving the position there. Winton has raised only £346 since April 1 towards a total of £770 required up to May 6.
