Annual Meeting
“We are pleased to be able to record a satisfactory year under the existing conditions. The membership of the club has reached record heights, especially among the beginners, and good work has been carried out with these members,” stated the annual report of the Murihiku Swimming Club presented to the annual meeting of the club last night. The call to military duty had depleted the club of officials to carry on the work. The finances of the club were in a healthy condition, the balance-sheet showing a slight increase on the previous year’s working. ~ , The election of office-bearers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr A.
