NEW FRENCH ARMY ON PARADE

Anniversary Of Capture

Of Tunis

(8.0.W.) RUGBY, May 7. The anniversary of the capture of Tunis was celebrated by a ceremonial parade and march past, states an Algiers correspondent. Regiment after regiment of the new French Army, reorganized and re-equipped, marched past. The men cheered General de Gaulle as few French chiefs have been cheered before.

British and American units took part in the parade.
